Emily Chidalek
Costume Designer
Emily Chidalek is excited to be working on this show with South Bend Lyric Opera! She is a student in the Masters of Clinical Counseling program at IU South Bend, where she also holds a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Performance (with a minor in Psychology). She anticipates becoming a drama therapist, to continue using her love of theatre to help others. Emily is the Costume Designer and Stage Manager for Culver Academies. Recent design credits: Ragtime, Ghost Quartet (South Bend’s Costume Design of the Decade, BroadwayWorld 2020), Songs for a New World, and Next to Normal (Art 4); Rent, Harvey, Robin Hood, and Bus Stop (Culver Academies). Emily has worked regionally and internationally as a costumer, scenic artist, stage manager, and performer. Credits include First Hand (Othello, Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival) and Mrs. Gottlieb (Dead Man’s Cell Phone, IUSB). She also joined a theatrical team that broke a world record, ask her about it!
